BSC SYNC SETUP

When setting up the sync1 and sync2 characters for use in BSC it is necessary to scroll (up or down arrow) before exiting the menu to set the value. To check this you may enter the MENU again to verify that the correct value is set. This value is usually a HEX 32,16,96, or B2.

DLM400 RS485 transmissions in [T]erminal mode

We have been  asked for the ability of the DLM400 to act as a master in a half duplex RS485 system.  We are offering firmware that will transmit characters pressed on the keyboard, or transmitted from a edit string and then  remove the transmitter from the circuit allowing other devices to transmit after a Carriage Return is entered. Keying in more characters causes the DLM400 to resume transmission. Please call with questions or suggestions for this type of testing.
